You didn't put a pin in somewhere while torquing the flywheel you've forgotten about?

I would have pulled the flywheel back off before pulling the front end apart...

Cam wheels also have different tone pattern too.
So the GC ECU wont know what's going on with cam timing.

STi Pink injectors aren't directly compatible with the MY99 manifold.
The "pink" injectors people are referring to are from MY01 and up.
Pre 01 are "side feed" injectors, 01+ are "top feed"...

The brown plastic one that hides under the right hand side of the dash with all the small blade fuses in it.
