I think that the idea is that the oil in the blowby will hopefully condense a bit and drip back down the oil filler.

Looks very similar to the PCV systems that they use on the auid's, vw's etc. Dont know how much oil it will stop though, as the intake tubes/throttle bodys on them still gunk up...
