you could easily diagnose this if you have a stethoscope, pick them up fairly cheap, have a couple at work, makes life very easy

its one of those things we need to hear for ourselves to give you a opinion, but i dont think its the crank pulley itself, if the crank pulley is worn you would get engine vibration cause the rubber...
