yes

mine didn't throw a cel on my99 model, the only reason i knew was fuel consumption (50km less per tank) & my afr gauge didn't move as it usually did

this would be the 1st thing i'd check, if its buggered you'll be using alot of fuel, just take it to any subaru specialist workshop & get them to check it

not sure about your model mate, mine was behind turbo in the dump pipe, yours maybe at the end of the dump pipe under the car or in your headers, i know your model has 12 sensors & 1 is a temp...

its one of the wires that comes off your o2...

its one of the wires that comes off your o2 sensor, from memory on my 99 GT it was the white wire off a 3 wire o2 sensor

can be checked with a multimeter on the signal...

can be checked with a multimeter on the signal wire of your 02 sensor, should be fluctuating at idle, if not its dead
