two problems you may have
1 - your so called mechanic didnt bleed the system properly in the beginning...

a simple test to see if your hydraulics are fine...

a simple test to see if your hydraulics are fine is when stationary try to select reverse
if easy all adjustments and bleeding is fine

if grating then you have a travel issue that needs to be...
