Yeah just use a 40 or 45 profile tyre, or go bigger. I have 245/40 on mine, and they give me plenty of clearance and mine are flush very small gap.

Don't do a stretched tyre, if anything do the opposite and put some fat rubber, or simply a tyre that is suited to the rim, this way the rim is more protected, especially if you do those fancy blue...
