That's about right. The other thing you could do if you plan on doing frequent country trips would be to buy a ~$30 tyre plug kit and a cheapo 12 volt compressor, then you can repair your own...

That will definately help, but the centre diff would still have to deal with some mismatch. Keep the speed as low as possible, say under 70KP/H and drive as short as possible to get the correct tyre...
