thanks for the input guys, i thought though it being a simple solder on job i could do myself
i was told one was anti-lag and one was rotational idle as it is labled 'AL' & 'ID'
when i activate...

He said hes pretty sure that RI is in closed state when inactive and AL is in open state when inactive.
Wasn't sure why the AL leads were soldered on tho,...
