I wouldnt blame the brand if normal wear and tear...

I wouldnt blame the brand if normal wear and tear is meaning a thicker oil.

EJ's do not like lack of oil at all. Run...

EJ's do not like lack of oil at all. Run something a little thicker, and keep an eye on it.

If it is seriously excessive it might be time for rebuild.
