On your point of a good way to blow $180, its not really that pointless. The ones currently on are pretty rusted and rounded. 1 of the locking nuts was so threaded I needed to smash a socket over it...

Looking at getting a new set of wheel nuts when I purchase a new set of wheels. Obviously black is a pretty safe choice but was thinking of maybe bronze or blue. Any one got an opinion.
