207 block is semi closed like jester said, its also has a double phased oiling system on the crank(more resiliant tougher bearings), good rods and bolts and I believe effort has been put into the casing strength which equals less of a need for closed decking as the casting is stiffer.

So tempting on the Tomei kit as ive got a good deal on a package Cams, headers even though ive put a deposit on the 207...

Jun kit Stef considering the labour and all the other bullshit cant take the rout well not just yet.

Cosworth kit sounds good also.

i would stick with the 207 if ur on a budget... are u going to do headwork?? if so then u could get better valves springs etc to allow u to rev it harder...

so instead of the extra displacement u can use the revs??

Im with Tino the 2.2 wont make much more power than the 207

To much work involved compared with the 207...With the 35r and good cam selection you will be laughing..
