Hey guys I'm in a similar boat, looking for coilovers for my 06 Wagon.
I was originally looking at the BC Racing Coilovers.

Probably a dumb question, but would these suit a 06 wagon ?
I do mostly daily city driving and drive out on country roads every now and then.

Had the same comments from someone at Wilko's when I had mine adjusted in the wagon, and when I had them adjusted/aligned in the MY05... So its not likely he's just having a bad day, more emo that he didn't get to sell his own product perhaps..

But either way, they are a great value coilover and if I end up going down that path in the liberty, I'll be hitting Joe-San up for a set!

Dont bother dropping my name in here. Ive had my HSD's longer than J-man has been selling them. (No offence meant Joe). He wont know my spring rates. There is a breakdown on the Otomoto website for more info. Not that I can be bothered helping you. You asked for advise, then threw it back in my face anyway. Just get your la de da Lamborghini (spl?) mechanics to fix everything for you. What would a lowly race workshop know anyway......?

Brent.

well i must of been lucky enough to buy a car with HSD coilovers...

joe, did joey buy the coilies off of u?

but i am gettin my coilovers lowered and wheel aligment done on monday morning by wheels world..now how much camber should i set the rears to without killing the tyres

negative 1, 1.5??( reason going negative is because dont want tyres rubbing on guards from lowering)

Just tell WW what you use the car for, and they will do something suitable...

I got mine done at Wilkinsons, just told them I use it as a daily, with occasional spirited driving/track days; and they just made the camber a bit more aggressive. Don't go overboard with camber, as it shags your tyres.

Lies. Negative camber only kills tyres if you run HEAPS or if you do 1000km straight line highway a week. I ran 2.5 degrees on my awd turbo 323 as a daily driver and still wore the outsides worse. Same on my subarus. Currently running 3degrees on the gx but thats a different story. Subarus understeer, negative camber makes it better. Toe is more likely to kill tyres.

I'd follow John's advice, he's really good at setting up your car right.
