Default 2008 WRX ecu selection/options

had a look and can only really find info for the 08 STI with regard to ecu's, and cannot find to much info on the websites

basically its for a normal shopping trolley spec MY08 WRX not sti, wondering about direction to go with ecu

*Motec
*Autronic
or something in the way of Ecutek
curious as to rough pricing and availability for my vehicle

would like to push as much "safe" power from the engine as possible with out doing internal work ect

ECUtek = flash retune of stock ecu - Cheapest option. ($1-2k?)

Motec = Race ECU - dearest option (~$5k + options etc)

Chiptorque will have maps for the 08 Wrx in a week or 2 max. They will have maps for the 08 STi whenever i can get my car on their dyno

cost is around 1500, but you get at least 3 maps(hi boost/low boost/valet/95 octane/98 octane etc...), and the flashing module. so you can flash it back to stock whever you want, and get maps altered etc just like an ecutek.

I've had mine tuned with ECUtek, cost $2K. Have been very happy with the improvements, have all the dyno graphs in the my ride section
