Stechnic does all my work n servicing. ASG does my tunes. Have always been happy with the tunes done by Sean.

It's a protection mechanism.

My understanding though is their is no boost change between modes. It simply effects DBW attributes.

That would depend on how it is tuned Andrew, I have different boost between all 3 modes

MRT website confirms that, they even have a dyno sheet showing both modes with little difference between them except the S# mode comes on a fraction earlier. I think from memory S-sport is pretty linear in throttle position/response where S# sharp is 100% throttle opening at only 30% of actual pedal position. Something like that etc etc..

The Blitz SBC iD is used in almost every ecuteked vehicle in Japan.

I count on the accuracy of the dual solenoid control which gives more control over a MAC valve or factory valve on higher boost.

Boost cut functions in terms of percentage duty cycle can be set which a flash would not allow and this is done in an instant. For example if u r on the track and atmospheric air pressure changes, you can set it up almost instantly.

Also what happened to the tune price on the post...cheers for the tip, i know where to go to get a more cost effective Verso now

No point getting a boost controller...full boost 24/7 or nothing.

Hey Drewgong...u sure about the fuel pump?

I'm not going to add anything to the car except a tbe and a tune, the rest will all be handling mods like sways/springs...

I'm being told it's safer to put a new pump in case the old one fails with the tune...Am I getting fed a load of bull? It is a 6 yr old car...

I wonder how many people out there that have tuned up their car on the original STI pump and are fine??

I'm now more confused LOL...
I guess what's going to decide Ecutek vs Verso is how much money I have left after getting the exhaust n fuel pump

Someone(not to name anyone here) told me that no Opensource tuned car is as fast as an EcuTek tuned car with same mods and all...I wonder

I can't confirm or deny that but i'd ask for some tune graphs to prove that
