05 sti first tune question
Hey everyone,
Just got my 05 sti back from getting a verso done all the usual basic mods, 3" tbe walbro pump In guard cai pushing 21 psi (what I was told) now the total kw at the flywheel states 194.8kw on the dyno print out at 356.7nm torque at the fly wheel..... Now my question is doesn't the 05 sti come with 195kw at the flywheel standard....... Everything I've read says so..... So question is how after basic breathing mods and verso tune have I lost 0.2kw, the whole reason I got the verso was to run the mods safely and increase power output as I've reaserched here..... Should I not be getting around the 200kw at the wheels after all of this, it's quiet dissapointing to be honest, unless I'm mistaken? Please explain thanks in advance |
Pretty sure ASG has a hub dyno. So your reading is from the hubs not the flywheel
The printout says flywheel, so could this be a mistake?
What difference would the hubs power be from flywheel power? Thanks |
bastard drivetrain, robbing us of all the power we are putting in..
that'd definitely an 'at the hubs' reading
195 = around 261hp atw which is almost identical to what my friend achieved with the exact same mods and car and also, it should feel way faster? |
ASG is hub dyno, I made the same power with my 05 minus the CAI.
The dyno printout that ASG use shows hp or kw at the wheels & shows calculated flywheel torque.
so it feels slower now?
Crazy idea, but why didnt you ask all star ?
Also, don't concentrate on the figure. Look at the before and after numbers and concentrate on the gains made.
