Minor as it is remember your crank case ventilation and other emissions crap feeds back through your inlet, intercooler and back to be re burnt. The Atmo valves let some of these nasties out.

When you see the oil collecting in the intercooler after a hard track session ( even on a car that usually doesn't seem to use any oil on the road ) and think of what thats going to do to the octane rating in the cylinders when it swallows a gulp your grateful to have a catch can!!!

The issue is noise, but I doubt you will be able to find a recirculating BOV that will be too noisey?

So it can not be clean fresh air and must contain some contaminates from the engine - so emissions would play a part - anyone know for sure what the law says regarding atmo bovs

Not allowed atmosph due to emissions not flowing through a cat converter or resonator.

atmo bov ftw, i got yellowed and it wasn't for the bov and they looked under the bonnet and didn't even say anything. Took my car over the pits and they didn't like it, took it back the 2nd time and they didn't even check it lol

I've got 1 X Hybrid GFB Bov and 1 X Mach 1 GFB bov. (both will suit a MY99-00)

both will need the side-bender adapotor from GFB or turbosmart.
