$1000 for Rota 17x8 wheels. I quite like the Rota G-force

$1000 for a set of Kumho KU36 street semi slicks in 245/40 R17

Slightly out of your budget, but it will be all brand new. You car will look tough, and you'll have heaps more grip and generally improve your cars performance in every aspect. Plus Rota Gforce in 17x8 +48 5x100 will clear brembos.

Changing rim sizes won't change the outside dimensions of the tyre by much. So if you don't like the distance from guard to wheel now, it will still look the same...

Better off lowering the car first.

You can get KU36's on ebay for $836/set of 4 landed in Perth, so that brings it even closer to his budget! Fitting would be bugger all.

I suggest you visit here for budget priced rim / tyre combos delivered to your door for a good price and quickly too. I bought tyres from them and saved a packet.

yeah there was a big difference the steering wheel was lighter and easier to turn I can now hit the corners with alot more speed. Once you lower the car it will feel even better
