try Rob at Ultrex (one of Perth-WRX vendors)

Weight of rims is subjective thing, the better made and lighter they are the more you will pay for them.

is that $1800 including tyres?

Ultrex have those rims which are coming in end of feb which are pretty hot.

18's are fine as long as they aren't chrome, get some lightweight ones

yea the $1800 is to include tyres and rims and dont mind the ultrex rims but probably a bit too much for me to afford as there not including tyres and nuts.So very undecided now so much choice outhere and so many opinions as well, my first preference is Chrome lip with black centre so might go searching for something like that.

anyone delt with tech9 tyres as they look like they have a good selection?

$1800 for new 18" rims and tyres?

Going to be some heavy ass shit rims and some shit tyres. So a complete waste of money.

Have a look for some second hand 17's (i.e. STi rims which are 7.5" wide compared to the stock wrx 7").

Also if you choose to go up a size in rim, make sure you factor in the cost of tyres that will match your current rolling diameter. Usually you end up with an oddball size that costs more.

Lastly, fyi - heavy ass rims on a performance car suck hairy sweaty cheese covered donkey nuts and increase your homosexuality almost as much as neons.

According to his profile, he has a Bugeye, so 06 STI rims will not fit, wrong PCD.
