Tamper proof screws
 

Hey guys,

Just wondering if any of use know where to find some of these. Tryed all the usual places today and yesterday but no luck, looked on the net and theres a place in america that dose them but they dont ship to australia.
What im after is 6mm bolt 1.25 pitch thread 15mm long, in the tamper proof design also a self taper design aswell.
I know theres a few designs and i havent choosen one yet just trying to find a place that sells them all.

6 x 1.25 is a very unusual pitch, you certain it's not 6x1mm?
I have definately seen them somewhere in Perth, possibly Searle Fasteners?
If not, send a message to James, he's a rep for Cov's fasteners, username on here I think is RSR-WRC.

Sorry let me refrase what im trying to say. After 1.25 pitch 6mm bolts and also self tapers all in the tamper proof heads.

Self tapers arnt in that size pitch.

As Doug suggested, give Searle Fasteners a try.

What I was trying to say is 6mm metric bolts and screws are 1mm pitch. As far as I'm aware only 8mm screws come with a 1.25 pitch.

Self tappers are designated in wire guage size. Not Dia x pitch.
Specifying a pitch of 1.25 on a 6mm screw is more course than a std metric course 1mm pitch.

Bottom line is you wont find what you have specified unless you intend to get them made.

Searle's will no doubt have what you want though if you can figure out what it is you need. They have a good range of many tamper proof fasteners.

Sorry guys, stupid phone keeps changing it to a 1.25 instead of .25, i didn't even notice. i'll give you call tomorrow James about the bolts and screws cause i am after some bolts and self taping screw. The screws not in that size or pitch just the bolts.
