Wanted ASAP - lug nut key to suit 04 STI rims
 

Hi guys,

I've had a bit of a retarded moment and I think I may have left my lug nut key on my rims and driven off with it...yes I know..that was very stupid of me.

It's a long shot but has anyone got a OEM stock lug nut key that I can borrow for a few hours (to suit a 04 STI)?

I'm not even sure whether all subaru's came with the same lock nuts from the factory?

I just need it for a few hours so I can get the stock lock nut off and swap it over with my work nuts.

I'm located NOR.

My '04 STi didn't come with one either, but I just borrow my uncles slim impact sockets- there's a socket I'n there that fits like a charm to rattle the all off lol :)

I dont think any Subarus came with lock nuts from factory unless you specified STi nuts when purchasing your car?. Also every lock nut is slightly varied so best to put a picture up so you can get the bit that suits

Hmm the 19mm seems to fit snugly but I'm just paranoid I'll thread the nut and then put myself in a even dire position lol.

Hmm this is the lock nut I'm referring to. There's one on each rim + 4 normal nuts that open with a 19mm socket.

Looks pretty much the same as the ones I just had to get off my car. Closest socket I could find to fit it was some random whitworth size. I got a couple of nails and cut them down to use as a kid of shim, and then bashed the socket on. Worked a treat.

each of the lug nut keys have a number on the top of them,... i have a few of them in my tool box at work.. spares that came off work cars.. let me know if you want to try them...
