I've been reading other ppls builds using the 48 and most have said it is too small of an upgrade for the 2.5, great for a 2l but

still a big difference compared to a td04 though, will definitely give you a bit more go which is what you seek to achieve, but it's your decision, wish you luck in your search

VF48 is the factory 08 STI turbo. So if you want performance of a tuned STI, go for that.
People will comment on turbo's being 'too small of an upgrade', but never tell you what they want in an upgrade. There is more to a Subaru than peak power numbers.

This is true, a lot of ppl are chasing numbers and 1/4 mile times. Yeah right like the wrx is a drag car
