Wanted: Standard Bov, Coilovers, 18"rims, rotors/pads Suit 05 Sti

As title displays, i'll be getting these things over the coming weeks and months myself but if i can get a good deal on here whilst helping some one, why not. All parts to suit an MY05 Sti

Stock Sti bov and recirc hose - think the wrx is the same as the sti aside from the spring inside having a slighty different compression rating. I planned on doing the crushing or grub screw mod anyways so doesn't phase me. i would also settle for an aftermarket recirc one as well at the right price.

Coilovers - Not concerned about quality, more for aesthetics and adjustability was looking at new STD R5's but would happily pay the extra for some second hand quality.

Rotors/Pads - Currently standard brembo's, but rotors and pads are shight (espec fronts). Looking at upgrading With DBA's or Project MU's but wouldnt mind temporarily running something different to see if this steering wheel shutter pisses off.

Rims - As displayed looking at 18x8.5 +38 or 18x8 +30 or 18x8.5 +42. Pretty much anything around that mark, nothing above 9" wide or below +30 offset, else not even my cousin jose ramirez will be getting them under the gaurds.

Pm or post here if you have something or have seen something

Cheers,
Jamie

For coilovers just get the STD R5's fitted from Mao....$1200 installed is cheap as, and the after sales support is good.

Contact GSL Rally Sport for DBA rotors and whatever pads you want.

This is what i went with and i am the stingiest cunt going round.

Cheers for the advice,

at the moment im looking at Rota's (common but i personally like them and im not going to spend more money on something i dont like just to be different)
STD's are pretty much set in stone for that price and im looking at DBA's from a few spots, but i'm only really looking at these if my existing ones need replacing.

As i hinted to above, i pretty much have my direction, but was dipping my toes in the water to get something of better quality for only a slight bit more because it was second hand.

E.g like a set of XD'9s generally 1700 ish? if i could pick em up for just over a thou, i'd lean towards them.

Nothing wrong with Rota's on a street car...i've even seen them on a track car for that matter.

But agree if you can buy quality for a bit more, do that. I bought some Advans for under 2k and to me that was more worth it than some 900 dollar Rotrangs.

How about these.DMS (Drummond Motorsport) struts to suit Subaru STI MY05/06/07 | Brakes & Suspension | Gumtree Australia Joondalup Area - Ocean Reef.
Knock him down a couple of hundred, take them to STechnic & get them to re-grease them (DMS grease only). Way better than cheap coilovers. If you're not going to track the car regularly then fit the standard STI top hats instead of the pillow ball tops to reduce NVH.
PS: This is the exact way I went so I can recommend this setup.

^^ Yeah, that's a great deal on those DMS shocks. Proper Australian made, re-buildable, competition rated shocks for a couple of hunge more than the cheap end of the market. They are not too harsh for a road car either. I use that exact 40mm shock in my Tarmac rally car and they work well. I've used the DMS 50's in my gravel car for years and years.

I've recently been browsing on DBA and found tuspeed to be the cheapest delivered to your door. Most sites vary no more than $50 thou.
