The Sti rear hubs won't be suitable as the rear end of the Gen 3 Liberty is a different setup.

I am surprised you can not get this from your local Subaru wrecker. The biggest in AU is located in your state

Hey I have been thinking all this while that they will fit! Can you please explain a bit more?
And what do I need to fit Brembos and the r180 diff then? Thanks |

The rear suspension set up on the rear of the gen 3 is very different, it is not a strut setup on the rear like the Gd model wrx, it is more like the newer GRB setup.
I would just try to get a 3.9 Lsd R160 diff, run some dog bone adaptor for the rear Brembo's. |

Easiest and best way is get an r180 rear diff which will bolt in, and use r180 160 conversion shafts which will then bolt in and you will have the proper setup, and just get dogbones adapters for the brembos.
r160 rears arent strong enough and shafts snap frequently. No point doing half the job. |
