Wanted - STi EJ257 Bare block
 

Does anyone have a sti EJ257 bare block for sale?

I would prefer brand new but would consider a low km one.

Thanks but after EJ257 and bare block... like the ones you get from the USA.... Fu$Kn exchange rate I tell ya...it US$990 + freight from USA and Subaru don't stock them here...

I should do a build thread...the below is my brand new spare engine which has a standard sti crank, and brand new Cosworth (rods, pistons etc internals)...I should have gone forged crank....oh well!

I am now going for more power so am looking for another new block...so I can put a K1 crank, Carrillo rods, JE pistons, CNC'd heads etc etc...

Would love to find a new bare block in Aus rather than import from the US...

true! but I don't want to offend him/her... and not sure if I want to take a chance on it, just incase something else is wrong...

I can strip a engine down to the bare cases for you.

How does $400 for the pair of block halves sound?

I picked up a pair of used 257 block halves in November just gone for $300.
Just for pricing comparison...
