VF23 or 22 Wanted.

Finally got around to taking my dump pipe off and checking my turbo and ze impeller is seized solid, V3 STI motor so looking for a good VF23 as a direct replacement or a VF22 if nothing else, I do have the option of sending it to Taiwan and having it re-built with a larger intake wheel but I haven't priced it yet, The guy over the road is from Taiwan and is a mechanic and thinks it's a good option but I'd rather find a cheap replacement and just get it on, miss driving the old banger and sick of using my motor home as a daily (I want it gone) PM with what you have or text/call on O422317OOO

mmmmm i have a vf23 sitting in the shed i maybe willing to sell it i got it off a Rs Liberty forum member about 6 months ago for 350 Not many about anymore i would take 300 for it.
Told it was in good nick i have never run it,wrapped it up in plastic and stored it away. I run a old school Vos chip setup in my rs which I'm really happy with and have to change my boost control setup to run the 23 which i realistically won't get round too for quite a well.

Sounds perfect and consider it sold provided it checks out ok .... or someone comes up with a free one fast ;) do you work somewhere else that might be easier to pick it up? I'm in Warnbro, I'd like to get maybe Seagull to check it out though if there are no ben't fins and no bad shaft play it should be fine I would imagine.

It's for my Gen 2 LIb so it'll be going to a good home.

PM me your number so I can get in touch

Tom.

Hey, I finally got the turbo on without too many problems, the old one had self destructed, car played up for a couple of years on boost and I'd cleaned out the IACV and TPS but it didn't make any difference so I took it to that useless thieving prick in Mandurah, $150 and 55min later he had made no difference so I decided to check the filter for some reason a few days later and AGGGHHHHHH, 3 of the 8 sections of foam were not there, so I grabbed a stock filter, sprayed the AFM and everything was perfect until about 100k's later when it stopped boosting, parked it up about 6 months ago and used my motor home as a daily but missed my toy so I bought Rslib72's lovely little VF23 and she's all sweet so lesson learned ...... bent shaft and almost seized bearing on a $2,580 turbo because I'm slack lol, check your filter :)
