Got a new Daily
 

Hey guys picked up my new daily yesterday, completely standard 03 sti. For the moment I'm going to keep it standard because it punches hard and best of all has a warranty :D Need this car to be reliable as our gc8 and rx7 arent the best dailys (although the gc8 has been going well with a blown headgasket, she can finally get fixed now haha).
Probably going to put some semislicks on it though (the ones it came with standard I'm pretty sure) as its got some shitter tyres on it atm. When I do get around to modding it will probably just go the basics, exhaust, coilovers and a bov.

Don't do a BOV, waste of money. Spend it on a CAI/Silicone Intake instead. You still get the noise you're chasing, without the overfuelling issues and potential for a yellow sticker ..

Although in recent debates, having a CAI in-guard is still classified as illegal which personally i would argue as the Pod is enclosed, but that's another matter altogether.

When i sell up, dunno if i am gonna go a sensibly modified 05+ STi or modded Evo9MR.

You are right Rx-7 arnt the best daily car, i drive my daily around to work too the 05 STI but i only work 5min down the road :D 1 tank will last for 3 weeks if i dont go out on weekends
