No worries, it's a farken hot ride.
Legalities of it only require it be on the passenger side of the car if you choose to side mount it because speed cameras are always on the left. Police don't like mounting on the right because you can avoid showing a full number plate and they can issue you with a $150.00 fine.

As for mounting it, there's a few possible ways - Hex screws and drill it into the front bar (most are good for 250kgs, so your 130g number plate is going no where, double sided tape - and copious amounts of it and mould your numberplate to suite the bend in the front bar, Self tappits - pilot hole first so you don't crack your front bar with a drill bit or there are number plate holders for GC8 by Cusco as mentioned.

Having tried all of the above except for the brackets because they stand out and look crap, I like the hex head screws. They didn't come off on my R32 sliding everywhere, so I'm doubting it would come off on the RA.

Can I ask how you got the RA fully street rego'd. I have one identical but race / Rally rego only. Just checking in case a loophole has opened that I don't know about. My 1st wrx was an evo 2. Bought it new in 98

The number plate where it's currently mounted will not kill the flow, somebody on here or rexnet did a test and the restriction was minimal!

RA looks awesomely hot mate!!!

Thanks mate, yeah i see alot of people running front mounts with normal plate positioning. The water spray is mounted on the front plate anyway.

As for rego, i didnt do it and im not quite sure how it was imported...trying to get details of the car from previous owner. Its regod but.

Thanks for the kind words fellas! Drove my club spec yesterday love the response compared to big huffer on the ra
