I wasnt thinking or trying to say its faster than anyone elses i just thought of it as a universal plate i could use for this car my next car and so on...

what did you pay for the plates?

I would be putting a proper thin foam strip around the underside outer edges of the Spoiler. You will get sand and grit in there otherwise, and if there is any movement, eventually rust in the bootlid when the paint wears thru.
