yeah, tho the instant pickup/sound of the supercharger sold it for me!

to me it just felt like the supercharger setup suited the style of the car more and gave it a bit more character - thats just my view of course

haha yeah thats the look! - tho not a fan of bbs look a likes

i enquired about a set of VS XX wheels (same as joe has, and jme had)

And they're 4k a set without tyres!! But a bombed true 3 piece wheel.

Big front brake upgrade is definitely on the 'must have' list also

I love supercharged engines, very very driveable and as mentioned the noise gives it some real character.

I used to have a MK1 MR2 (the wedge shaped one) with a fettled 4AGZE supercharged engine. It made maximum boost the instant you put any load on the engine and the supercharger wine was louder than the exhaust.....I really miss that car

I had an 03 Cooper S before the STi, we took the runflats off and replaced with Michelin Pilots and only had one puncture in 4years. I did carry an electric compressor and tyre repair kit in the boot just in case, the repair took 30mins to fix and away I went!

Very nice car!

This is the first puncture ive had in ~9 years of having my lisence. And the runflats were useless anyways (car had to be towed home)

So to date it hasnt bothered me about having a spare. A tow truck is always a phone call away.

Still awating call about the wheels (hopefully not much longer now)
