My01 bug eye
 

Hey all thort it was about time i posted up pictures of the car and where its heading.

My wrx 113xxxkm
Mods: king springs lows, 3'' tbe, x force cat less up-pipe, GFB atmos BOV, APS CAI, silicon intake, warbo HP fuel pump and verso tune made 204HP with 298NM.

As some members are aware i have a slight engine noise when its cold so im going to fix this with a ej207 short bottom end, VF34, 550cc injectors, sti top mount maybe front mount. If money left over might look at a set of cams and a motec M800.

nice bug mate with your planned mods it should bring your hp/nm to 260 odd and330odd nm depending on tune and howmuch boost you are going to smash in to your motor. have simillar mods on my bug but still running stock motor with about 20 psi boost

Thanks mate i would like to hit the 260-280hp mark i think any more then that and its hard to use it as a daily driver. i had my mechanic look at the noise today and he re cons its more from the heads then bottom end. If thats the case i probably won't go ahead with the 207:(.

i want to get them painted but i got a few scratches on the back bumper, and the roof clear coat is peeling a little bit and my mate thort it would be funny if he hit the kerb at leech highway maccas. Plans are to wait a little bit longer mabe end of year and full respray on the cards.:D

dont go front mount, yea looks nice but god damn does it get laggy, lol but when the turbo hits, it hits, i personally dont like da lag, but the power afterwards, its like a rolercoaster, anyway, if you end up getting a Motec M800 for a price u happy with let me know, i need one too lol

6 months ago I was quoted $3800 for a M800 pnp for my MY00 by Tim Slako (West Racing)
I think that included fitment and initial tune

Nice bug mate and very clean, plus one on getting rid of most of the badges from the boot. Its not like those who care need size 20 font letters to let them know its a S U B A R U!!

I'd look into getting those front flashes replaced with clear ones, you can get them along with the chrome globes from SSS parts.
