i think i met you at a cruise a little while back? was in the blue bug.. was a lil wet too.
good luck with the build. will be following the progress

Thanks guys, i will keep you all updated but it will be a little slow in the progress department shortly as it will go off to have the cage done and that will stop most other things for at least a month!

But i will keep you uptodate as all the components come in!

Yeah mate i remember, i have actually never been on a cruise but thought i might give it a try (and as you know i didn't go on it anyway!)

Haha mate, good to see you are still around even though you now drive an SS!

Can't really hold that against you as my other car is the same lol

Sounds like a great project. I would have gone with an sti body shell only so u could fit some really large tyres I.e 265 Rcomps. With the larger gaurds. But should go pretty well in any case.

i agree 100% but for the price i paid i am not concerned, when (i will say when) i punt it the plan is to covert it to wide body!

1 month to get the cage put in..hahahahaha.

My 1 month cage took about 6 months. I was not so happy about it!

What is the total build time?

Also remember that you really only get one go at doing your body prep right so spend a little extra time / money before the cage goes in and you will save a mountain down the track.
