WTF That looks pretty cool. Does it cause any glare off the bonnet or anywhere where it's positioned. I guess it works well or stupid question lol.

Only bit that glares is the reverse scoop a bit. But there is so much light infrint of you that the glare by comparison is marginal.

Dunno really. Only got a handfull of laps before the engine dokked. I suspect the electrical strain on the alternator somehow overloaded the engine causing it to implode.

In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.
And Bram said, Let there be light: and there was light.
And Bram saw the light, and it was good; and Bram divided the light from the darkness.

So I’m back in love.

It’s been 8 months since I’ve driven my car in any form of competition. Ever since I’ve had the rebuild done I’ve had an intermittent misfire between about 5.5 and 6k revs which has finally been fixed. It sat in the tuners workshop for about 4 of those while they tried to find time between their rally commitments and finally diagnosed the gap for the cam angle sensor was up to sh1t causing the miss at high revs.
Anyway, all fixed and I had my first event yesterday. A point to point shootout at Barbagallo Raceway. Great event, 45ksh cars entered and a heap of variety.
Finished 8th over all, actually thought I did better as my last run was quick, yet slower than my first run... Shame my cam was flat as I would loved to have timed it. Anyway, drove it home in one piece and had a heap of fun.

Vid ( First run )

Tight as hell course with a few hairpins, 90deg corners and chicanes that suited the lotuses and bombed escorts
Highly recommend this event for anyone keen to get out there, we’ll run and dickhead free.

Second half was great. The 90 reg bends into a chicane was a bit much I thought.
It’s like the old RAC where they change the layout and direction each month so it’ll keep it interesting.
Rate it A+. Would bang again
