So hit Barbs for the first time in god knows how many years, was actually quiet excited.

7 odd years of luck finally ran out...
Anyway B reg seems the go now, have to go into stinky DOT place and hand in the plates..
Track time went well apart from a miss happening at about 6k and into the second hard lap, so got to get that sorted, ended up with a 1:07.xx for the night. was never happy with my braking down into the bowl.
Busted into the 1:06 according to my logger but that was when I had Neil Richardson in my rear view mirror which makes you push harder!

Great night ran smoothly, hopefully more get involved.

Yeah was slightly amusing. Was at a set of lights in Leighton beach and had a couple of fuzz on bikes behind me bending over to have a look in the car. Took off and they lit them up.
Got asked straight away if it was b reg which was a question he already knew the answer to so I didn't lie. Straight away mentioned cage, no airbags etc and said that he knew it was a safer car than 90% of the cars out there but "rules are rules"
Did laugh to myself when he wanted to look under the bonnet, there could have been a big block Chev under it and it wouldn't have made a difference, the yellow was already out..
His partner was more interested in how much / how fast / did I do any myself than anything else. Anyway, I was courteous and they let me have 10 days to sort which means I could drive to Barbs rather than park it up.
Knew it would happen at some stage.
