Boxorbeast 2005 STi ~

Hello all, decided since I'm going to put some work into my car I'd make a driveway thread so I could get tips and suggestions on what I could do further ~

I was going to sell the car, but received little interest so I decided just to keep it and work it a bit more.

Car was purchased in 2009, with 18,000 kms.

When purchased it had the following -

EJ257 block (I don't know why he did it)
Full mandrel bend TBE
APS Front mount
APS cai
whiteline antisway bars
upgraded fuel pump
adjustable coil overs
HKS blow off valve
Autronics ECU with launch control/antilag

picture of it back then

at around 34,000 kms the ol EJ257 gave in. car was consuming alot of oil. White smoke came out of the exhaust, idle became bouncy, oil spraying out of the BOV..... biggest nightmare and around the same time this was all happening driving along casually and then coolant starts to piss and spray everywhere inside the car on passenger side ~ heater core. So it was time for a rebuild.

Engine out first time

Stuffed EJ257

Brand new EJ207

For the rebuild I went with
Brand new EJ207
Brand new GT Pumps GTPS03 turbo
New heater core
ARP Head stud kit

I was planning to fix it and just sell it off, but due to a change of circumstances in my life I decided to keep it and work on it more....

Currently the engine is out of the car again getting machined, it is receiving:

Cosworth 2.2L Stroker kit
Cams, Springs
Head machine
Oil pump
Gasket kit
Custom Garrett GT3076 kit
External waste gate
Headers

Car as is today
