On the subject of Plasti Dip, could I ask if you sourced this locally?
Looking at getting some for a project (no, not for the car) and haven't been able to find this unless it was online.

I had the centre console in my Forester plastidipped with all the STI HVAC controls and hazard switch, etc. At first I was really careful around it (I didn't have a whole lot of confidence in it lasting) but it took a few knocks and held up fine.

I actually had a genuine JDM STI console for the Forester as well (finished the same as the Spec C, etc) and I thought the black "soft feel" finish was shit. It scratched REALLY easy.
