Default Race/Rally GC8 v2.0

Well after the small crash at the McRae rally sprint the JDM STi is getting stripped and everything is going into a 1998 WRX shell, everything will be V5 STi gear apart from the shell so I'm going to refer to it as a V5 anyway.
The new car is street registered so unlike the crashed one I will have the freedom of not having to worry about permits to drive it anywhere. A full Bonds FIA specification steel roll cage will be welded in and Cobra Evolution Pro Race seats installed with 6-point FIA approved RPM harness's

I will update the pictures as much as I can as time goes by, thankfully got a few sponsors which help out too, the like of West Coast Smash Repair Centre in Belmont and also Malicious Intent Clothing
I have also created a motorsport team name, any feedback would be good, thanks guys

you going to get more sponsorship decals on this one Todd? Get Gav from GT Graphics to work some magic on the car! Would come up looking like a proper race car!

Because racecar!

Look forward to seeing the blue one out and about the streets of Clarkson

Great to hear you are back on track with the car.

Re the cage, have you ever considered a custom cages kit from the UK?

Kit will probabaly be about 2k landed and 3k to weld in. International group N FIA spec cage in the car for around 5k plus painting.

IMHO a top spec cage definately adds value to the car if there was ever future relsale and also you have the piece of mind of having the best protection money can buy while you own it.

EDIT: If you are goig down this path be sure to check with CAMS tech department in VIC to make sure the cage you are importing is up to current FIA specs. There have been some recent changes effective 1st Jan 2012. (thicker walls on key tubes)

cheers guys will get done up like race car definitely,

and dad is the fabricator so he will be welding it all in and the BONDS roll cage will be welded in before not too long, its FIA approved also
