I do drop by bbt occasionally with the boys on Weds nights. And yep I'm friends with Curtis. I do recall him mentioning that he has a friend with a forester actually!

All in all, the conversion was relatively straight forward (took me roughly a whole day). Originally I was going to do a complete retrofit using TSX/S2K projectors (which involve drilling into the headlights etc). However, I then came across the morimoto mini kits (which was designed in such a way that all you had to do was simply slot the projector's through and screw it in place from the back). I did have to modify a few brackets for it to fit but it wasn't too difficult.

Here's a pic of the kit itself with bmw E46 replica shrouds:



I dare say the wideness and spread of the projectors is comparable to OEM ones. The cut off isn't 100% perfect but is pretty close and at the end of the day, much better than HIDs in a standard reflector housing!

Thanks mate. I don't think I will . I'm planning on re-spraying the bonnet back to blue in the year to come.

before you do i found this pic and thought of your car : D obviously you'll do what ever you want in the end but thought you might like to see the possibilities before you make the decision and then possibly regret it later.

this imo looks mean as but isn't for every one lol
