So not much has happened recently, fitted a front lip finally and (IMO) looks a lot better.

Also re-rapped the roof in blue and suits the car a lot better than the green.

And at the moment its getting a dose of braided brake & clutch lines and another power steering pump as that has died.
Everything in preparation for double skid pan on Sunday and future events.

Finally, this car will (touch wood) see some form of competition at rally sprint on Thursday! I've had a little bit of back and forth with the car, the aircon completely shat it self coming into summer, got that replaced, then a few weeks later the car decided running 8 psi of boost was more fun. So pulled the intercooler off checked that there wasnt any lines split or anything, fixed a leaking clutch line, put it all back together made no difference. Got told to swap the MAF and back to running normal boost.
Same time pulled the power steering pump apart and found that had started to eat itself, replaced that, new suction hose and flushed the rest of the system. Now thats hopefully the end of the issues for the time being.

See who ever is down at rally sprint on Thursday!

Modified cars... the gift that just keeps on giving.

Seems like you have touched every part of the car to get to this stage

So been through 3 events over the last month so the car will now get a rest for a little while due to working on other racing plans for the year.. still will involve some form of boxer motor :P

Rally Sprint went well, was messy all night though and wasnt the happiest with the runs. There is a temptation to get out and do the March one now that I've actually sat in the car at speed and worked it out properly and see how it all compares. Had one major woopps and got on it to early coming out of the crossover and just ran it up the bank.

Skid Pan/track session i was happy with how it went, had just flushed the rear diff fluid and it felt to make a huge difference in just how smoothly the car was driving was still trying to work out the limit of the brakes and my mind may have played a few games with me...

Club Sprint, was stinking hot! The car got hot every run and for the first 2 i short shifted the last lap, 3rd run i stuffed badly early on and rolled the next 2 laps then the 4th, with 2 bottles of cold water over the intercooler and radiator went out for the last run and it stayed cool enough for long enough to do a full run. Resulted in a time 11 secs off Micks fastest run of the day, I was happy with that for a standard car.

Cheers NueKaede for the pic

Now she'll get a wash, polish and wax and go back to street duties for a while

Great choice, Speak to Luke there if you still have not got them.
He will ask you questions about the car and set the shocks up for it...
