at 2 now but I won't worry about upgrading to an r180 for now....knowing my luck I'll still break that and then a replacement driveshaft would be more expensive/difficult to get :/

ohh and don't copy what I do if you want your car to remain unbroken

Sorted on the boost controller thanks and I'll have to check about the other 2.

Are you really trying to do burn outs before the launch to "warm the tyres up"?

No, watch the video I posted a few pages back and all I do is a small launch out of the water. I am not trying to create smoke, for a few months I tested different settings of the dccd, launching styles and whatnot and found doing this got me my best runs with no wheelspin off the line.

Once I get some decent tyres I most likely won't be doing it anymore as there would be no point......that or I'll realise that tracking this car is a lot more fun and breaks less things

Haha ok. All I see that doing is hurting the clutch and driveline. Might have been a coincidence you got a good 60 footer. Keen to hear some physics theories on it though if anyone has any. Happy to admit I am wrong!

Yeah anything fun in a car does some sort of damage :/ the 3 12 second runs I got ended up with a bit of clutch smell and I've tried to have a bit more mechanical sympathy lately but it doesn't get me 12's. So now I'm trying to find other ways to get that time without damaging my driveline, clutch or gearbox....any tips ?

Ohh and coincidence it was not as most runs I was getting 1.7's and was sooo close to a 1.6 on one run

Lack of mechanical sympathy was what got GTRETA into the 10s from what I heard lol
