By rxelover99 bought gc8 a couple of years back, car came with everything colour coded front and side clear indicators, engine wise it has a hdi front mount intercooler kit, gfb bleed valve, turbosmart bov, 3 inch tbe. also has a lightweight alloy bonnet. it has 01 wrx rims which have been changed since, just starting to add more to it so i thought i would make a driveway thread to keep up to date with its progress.

a few months of ownership found 1 rim was bucked, changed to bob jane t marts rims, also found i had some rear suspension damage, car now has adjustable kyb struts. also at the same time added slotted rotors all round and green stuff pads. also found pics of when i first got car but sadly don't have pics of struts.

i got sick of everyone saying they could hear me coming a mile away, i then decided to change my rear muffler, i purchased an xforce varex muffler.

i then decided to leave everything until recently. i purchased some visual upgrades, i am adding sti spoiler, vortex generator, sti lower lip and fog light covers, and angel eyes, will post pics when finished. the boot is temp until i get back the other one.

so i fitted my angel eyes, vortex generator and new air box and decided to turn the boost up to 14psi so much more fun to drive

yeah turned it up with the bleed valve, and got the air box off high octane racing.com. thanks for your opinions but im still changing things, also the boot is temporary.

just thought i would give an update, i have done quite a bit more since i last posted, here's a bit of a list.

1.straight cut 5 speed box
2. sti wing and front lip
3. short shifter
4. vf 28 turbo
5. bc coilovers
6. alloy radiator and shroud

i have been talking to leigh hynes about a link ecu, hopefully be looking at getting that in a few months.
