Looks very clean. Decent mods too to unleash the hidden factory power.

not at all. you've just got to be patient and be prepared to have sore fingertips when you're done.

DukeDrifter 09-09-2012 08:26 PM

haha i can deal with the sore fingertips not so sure about the patient bit, but sweet car bet it looks even better in the flesh cant wait to see it

rim face looks too concave to be 8" wide... you sure? Either 18x9.5's or you have some weird offset!

what width tyres are you running? 255's or wider?

235s. stretched a bit but not drastic.

ImPreSiV 10-09-2012 07:58 AM

fark... I hate the look of my 255's, this is why I am going to change to 275's next time (I have the same rims as you, this is how I knew you were running a wider rim - you have the Rota Grid Drift face, and they only come in rims 9.5" wide and wider)

So, a bit of an update.

First and foremost; the car copped a licky last sunday. Took it over the pits after removing the aftermarket BOV, fitting the stock airbox, raising the coilovers + changing out the rims to stockies; and popping in an exhaust silencer. Gave the car a good detail internally + externally, as well as the engine. Took a good 6 hours. Radiator also died in the ass last week (split end tank); thankfully doug and damien were able to help me out as they had one lying about - took me 30 minutes to fit up out the front of STechnic and is now all well and good.

Needless to say it passed it's first attempt over the pits at Osborne Park. I just have re-stanced the car again.

Oh and a big thanks to Rob over at ULTREX for the Poly front lip. I'm in love; makes the car look so much more aggressive.

I'll be in the market for some cams soon enough; and might be ditching the VF35 for something a bit bigger.
