Very nice car
Glad u like it, weather in these few days made me can't get my car washed.... |
Quite sure I saw this today on wanneroo rd/main st. Looked amazing!
|
People are probably confused because you left the WRX badge on the rear of the car, after dressing it up like a STi

ya, agreed, that's only thing left to prove it's a WRX, I mean from out looking. |
i saw this at my uni a while back...pretty good replica of an STI, defiantly have more (STI) badges/stickers then me haha...things that i could pick straight away was the interior, no rear roof spoiler thing and wrx badge...pretty sure you didnt have the brembo's then too...but looks like heaps of money has been spent on it :)
It's a very clean and crisp sounding wrx tho...good job :) i drive the silver 06 STI at ecu in mt lawly
bro, saw ur car many times at uni too, already done full brembo kits + new rotors+brake pads etc, pretty lot of money for sure, haha:D |
Nice car.
I want brembo's too :( |
What turbo are you running?
|
Nice car.
I want brembo's too :(
Brembos are not really over budget, but need to get the new rotors if u wanna put brembos on a WRX, works perfect so far, haven't died yet:D |
What turbo are you running?
not sure my mate, forget it...shame.. need find out... it was done by ex-owner not by my hand, I was planning to put on a VF34 but lost too much in Crown...so have to put on hold.... |
Is it 185kw (248hp) or 309hp? Your Gumtree ad states both power outputs... if it's 248hp then probably still stock turbo yeh?
|
Also STi Price for a WRX. Well thats me out.

on the Boost Controller displayed 309HP, 185KW is the WHP, see if i can get the dyno map. |
....
|
185kw is only 245hp....i think there is something wrong with your boost controller haha
possible, the dyno map was done almost 4yrs ago by ex-owener, probably I will do a new one see any difference. |
My bum is more accurate than the Blitz i-Colour boost controller for calculating power.
|
My bum is more accurate than the Blitz i-Colour boost controller for calculating power.
especially after a few hot curries, or is that NOS? |
My bum is more accurate than the Blitz i-Colour boost controller for calculating power.
ha, or maybe u can give some advice somehow. |
Sure.
Put car on a dyno. No incar device is going to give you as accurate an answer. I can download an iPhone app that shows me my car has 500hp. Is it true? |

The SBC just estimates power and torque from a few figures.
Have a look in the setup/calibration menu and see what weight, power correction, driveline type, wheel spin distance etc etc is in there. Also check your setup of the rev and speed to ensure it is accurate. Remember the weight of the car will need to include passengers and fluids. Because of the way it estimates it, you can easily fudge a 250hp car into a 300hp car. Heck you can put your car on 2 different dynos and get 10-20% difference in results. That's why I asked what turbo as that is the main factor for telling a 'real' result. |
why are you selling it? its actually one of the nicer wrx's going around that's for sure.
Family issue, parents are coming soon.... |
