Oh yeah, the DBA hats used to click because of the anodizing, I can't remember why that was a bad thing. Russ, any chance you can annodize the hats, then polish it back off the area that connects to the floating disc?

A few other updates from last R&R, I dropped the car off at the panel beaters and had a delightful MMS last night with some pics and the comment "I've put it back together so you can pull it apart"

The existing EJ18 did a big poo when trying to unload it off the trailer at the panel beaters, I'm hoping two cylinders is enough to load it back onto a trailer and get it into the shed to start dismantling it.

I have also started dissmantling the airpump system on the car, will chuck another thread up for some pics of that as someone on the Perth-WRX facebook group was asking for them. Needless to say, its a pain in the arse and I would hate to have to do it in the car!

Alcon hats anodised black. No click..... maybe just a DBA thing? Anodise all...if click....buff back affected area....
