Hmmm.
Car has developed a bit of a splutter and hesitation when it is cold and still not at full temperature. After five minutes of driving the splutter(missfire??) goes away but there is still a little hesitation to come on to boost. Fuel stumble maybe?? Booked in for Tokyo's to take a look next week. Anyone got any ideas?

How's the smell on start up and coolant consumption? Same symptoms I had leading up to the HG.
Fingers crossed it's just something simple in terms of fueling.

Smells like corn. Will check coolant level this arvo.
Cheers. Only other thing I have noticed is my ethanol content reader has crept up to e85 since the last fill. I haven't heard of anyone getting that reading. It usually runs between e82-83. Most people report getting between e79-83, so I am wondering if I have a dud batch of fuel. If there is any water in the fuel the reader will go up in value not down...

Its been cooler a few mornings over the last few weeks cold start on e85 might need some fuel added ..
Try 98 for a tank woukd cross that issue out if so using the Perth-WRX mobile app

Conspiracy theories debunked. SchitzoBetty needed some counselling. Apparently the ecu has individual cylinder trim self learning extrapolative algorithms designed to enhance the drivers experience, and occasionally lean out the whole map including wot.
