Loom, computer, gearbox, diff, brakes, suspension, exhaust, basically everything under the bonnet... there's no other way unless you want it to break

Everything from one car into the other, all the loom from the front to the tail lights as well. Even the fuel tank is different. There's a difference in the bodyshell from around 98 onwards. If both cars have the early style dashboard you're ok. If one has the Forester type dash with 3 glove boxes you're in for some surprises. The wiring loom inside the doors will often have different plugs too so you may need to swap that as well. Do not discard anything from either car until the project is 100% finished.

Get the cars side by side and then start transferring everything over one bit at a time. Then get someone experienced to check it all over so you don't stuff shit up.

style but only diff is the pass air bag???
will get new suspension when its going
also what should i do with the key situation?

I was going to offer to drop by and run through a few things as I thought your location said Carine. Cairns is a bit far though. :-p

Legally, if the GX has airbags they need to be retained. Sounds like the GX is a MY99/00.
Did you keep the front cross member? The turbo one has a scallop cut out to clear the up pipe. Control arms are the same. Is the GX FWD or AWD? Rear shocks are different between fwd and awd.
