I told Mao to tune it with zero knock correction from ECU on multiple runs, kinda because scared of knocking killing ringland.

Nobody likes the tuna here

Just take it to mms, asg or similar and you'll be fine.

Duke, "Nobody" is a stretch. I've had both my cars tuned there and am a satisfied customer... Opinions are like arseholes, everyone's got 1.

definitely sounds like a bad tune.

more open loop tuning work required before smoothing it out with PID

I know u r not a fan of Evo r, but I had even worse experience from another subaeu specialist, Mao's tune feels better than other two shops I tried before, and almost all the work was done by him, and so far so good. Everyone has its own experience, but i will definitely talk to Mao first, before going to other workshops.

Granted everyone has had a bad experience at different shops but what's the one place that keeps generating smoke ? Where's the smoke there's usually.....

I hope it all works out for the best for you Gordon as having a engine issues with a car you pump your hard earned cash into is the worst.

Smooth tune < reliable tune.

Also 800ml of oil in 1000km is not good on such a new car.

It has been consuming oil for ages, it didn't just start recently.

You need to sort it out Gordon you're just throwing money away mate...
