So I finally broke my Midland speed dome cherry with the WRX Club of WA last sunday and it was awesome ! The courses alex setup were fast technical and tight and I must say I struggled with getting the directions down pact in my head but on the first course I nailed it ! Posting the 4th fastest time of that one

Then came the second course which was abit longer and even more of a headfuck than the first one first run I copped a WW kinda sunk my mood then the next 2 runs j improved huge

Last run of the day i said fuck it and just went for it went a bit to hard into a left hand corner slipped on some sand and went mowing on the grass got back to business and kept on going after saving it and beat my previous run by 6 seconds posting a 94.3 and securing me a top 5 finish again (4th) out of 40 cars

The car is awesome I'm loving it atm and cant wait to hit up collie later on in the year

If anyone can lend me some tips or any info about collie I can digest and research it would be great !

Pretty much brand new set of circo M119 pads up front brand new PMU R777 rear pads and PMU gt rotors up front I hope they last hahah !

Had fun at round #2 of the targa sprint

After a few issues we sorted out after run 2

Finally set a good enough PB to work towards beating in round #4 as thats the reverse track again

The car was mint engine still runs i did not crash had a blast with my navigator i will be entering round #3 and onwards !

Not much has changed in the gc8 since last update

So with the rally sprint season done and dusted

Time to recap how it was

I managed to run 4/5 events of the year with only round 2 beeing a bit gay with a missfire we fixed on run 3

The other 3 events the gc8 performed incredible no problems other than my self getting slower over the night as the dark came about

I managed to finish in the top 20 3 times out of the 4 times I raced and I guess for beeing my first season out there competitively in very proud of my self! With all other drivers above me 7+ seasons run and most of them targa racers

In a 300hp gc8 vs 700hp evos and cars with over 100k spent on them it held its own

Now to focus on the Busselton sprint and WRX Club events to get some more seat time for the end of the year !
