Lets see what my spool is like with headers later.
i reckon it will deff improve with headers. But i reckon the best thing to get them spooling is a bigger / free'er intake. On mine i went with the 3inch inlet, a 3inch MAF pipe, and literally the biggest airfilter K&N make with a 3inch flange.

The headers will also help with the performance thru the mid and high rpms.

Yeah for now. Sean doesnt like the idea of pushing it any harder given its now used for racing. He is worried intake temps will get too high from extended boosting and the stock IAT is located pre-turbo, so cant adjust for high post-TMIC temps. He also said my larger MAF pipe was already running out of scale, and suggested to just go to a MAP based setup with a new computer. He did some higher HP runs but pegged it back to where it is now. Boost is basically set as low as it will go with my wastegate actuator.

Yeah we defs need a new ECU, Sean was quite limited on mine as well with this, said he couldn't really go where he wanted to with the fuelling/maf tables and to go Ecu before anything else now...

Can u put a temp sensor post turbo pre throttle. And wire the iat wire to it then rescale the voltage-temp table?

in order for mass airflow sensor calculations to work properly, you need to know air volume and air temperature. this is why the IAT is in the same position as the MAF. If you move one then the calculation isnt gonna work properly.

There is a reason why aftermarket computers dont use MAF fueling. Its because its shit.

And even if you could move the IAT and make that work. It still wont address the MAF pipe runnning out of scale, or give me cool shit like LC, ALS, FFS, race dash and Flex etc. Look at the parts already in this car. It would be criminal NOT to put an ECU in it.
