After Justin played with my cold start the car starts pretty much like a 98 car now!

Oh and great result

Curve looks mint. Do you have an RPM graph instead of engine speed?

No. The dyno only logged wheel/roller speed. I guess you could calculate it back. I have a 2007 jdm drivetrain and 295/30r18 tyres.

Ill have to check speed/rpm at a couple of places on the graph and do a linear interpolation myself.

The dyno graph only shows the roller/wheel speed. It doesn't show actual engine RPMs. So, I got my nerd on and did some maths. Using the gear ratios as found on the "Rallispec" gearbox specification list for my model 6spd, and my tyre size of 295/30R18. I then punched the numbers into the "Subarugears" online gear calculator. Then using a bit of back and forth to convert between MPH and KMH, I was able to correlate wheel speed to RPMs. So I overlayed the info onto a scan of my dyno graph. Im not sure if its 100% accurate, as even if the numbers match up, there may be discrepancies due to wheel camber or toe, or my calculations could just be plain wrong. But here is the graph with new info super-imposed. (I also added a scale to convert HP into KW, and PSI into BAR)

It would seem it spools almost exactly the same as the DOM2.5 tune. MAP is ramped up and beginning its platue right at around the 3.6k RPM. Which is pretty much same as what the stock location DOM / TMIC combo did. But then there is plenty more meat under the graph from there on.

Bram....

If your RPM's are correct then why is it dropping off at 6000rpm...?

I think your RPM's are out mate I bet that is closer to 7000 RPM..

Or am I incorrect?

Im not 100% sure. What i really need to do is get the car back and set up the GPS and drive and take some actual measurements? That is all calculated. Bit i used the data straight from RalliSpec for my exact gear ratios. And i punched it into the calculator on SubaruGears. The only calculation i had to do was calculate tyre diameter (then convert it into inches.) And i used WillTheyFit tyre calculator for that. And then the only other calculation i had to do was convert KMH into MPH to use on the SuabruGear calculator. Then on the SuabruGears calculator i worked out RPMs for a few different points in the graph and then i divided down to give me 3 a linear spacing interpolation for all the points in the graph. Im pretty sure everything was entered correctly? Bit i havent been able to properly test. Your welcome to run the numbers your self and see if ive made a boo boo? Gearbox is TY856WB8KD and tyre size is 295/30R18.

But if you watch the video, it looks like he pulls the run short? That 412hp graph is of the 2nd pull in the little video i put up up. I dont know at this stage. Ive never really paid a huge attention to speed VS rpms before. But given the number of steps in doing my calculations, there is potential for an error to be made.

Actually. You might be right. Just watched video again and you can hear a little double missfire at the end of the pull like its just hitting limiter. And limiter is at 7k i think. So i may well be out with the scaling?
