I dont think it could be valve float at only 5800rpm

Float isnt just rpm related .. boost can also play a part .. what valve springs are in it ? Doubt its an issue thi

They are supposed to be good to 25psi

Ah mmm 1.7 bar is ~~ 24.97 psi ish

He ran it at 1.6 bar with no problems. And i want final tune at 1.5

I'll be very curious to see what the car finally makes. In Melbourne, the majority of people with bigger turbos are all running E85 and flex fuel, and I know of only one 2.1L stroker.

Why did the engine builder choose springs that are good to 25psi when the rest of the engine should happily be capable of more?

I asked for double valve springs during the build from RSS.
They ordered the wrong ones. Its kind of my fault as i didnt check them until after they were installed.
